Is it possible to calculate and verify files through the network?

Yes, FastSum is able to calculate and verify files checksums through the network. FastSum uses standard Windows mechanisms of working with network files. In other words, if the file is accessible for Windows - it is accessible for FastSum too.

If there are any problems in working with files over the network - check network connection and settings. It is also important to understand that some network protocols do not guarantee data delivery. In this case FastSum can be processed right from the server, where files are located, using (for example) Telnet.
